the word “photography” comes from the greek 'photos' meaning 'light' and 'graphé' meaning ‘representation by lines’ or, more simply, 'drawing'. putting the two words together, we get the meaning 'drawing with light'.

this simple piece of information has greatly impacted me in recent years. although Mr. Portokalos might come to mind when you read this, it is something that has stuck with me since discovering it. as any creative will tell you, we live a life of self doubt as it is a big part of the creative process. “photography is an art of observation... i’ve found it has little to do with the things you see & everything to do with the way you see them” - Eliot Erwitt.

i believe there is beauty in everything and I simply aim to capture that.
